My country does run free and fair elections. I know this because there are many safeguards in place to prevent fraud, such as voter ID laws and signature matching. I also trust the results of the elections because they are always audited by independent organizations. I am satisfied with how my country organizes voting and results-gathering, but I believe there is always room for improvement, such as making it easier for people to vote by mail or early voting.
