Pi Cycle Top 지표는 2019년 Philip Swift가 3일 이내에 비트코인의 최고치를 예측하기 위해 만들었습니다. 이는 2021년 4월 3일 이내에 비트코인의 로컬 최고점을 예측하면서 큰 인기를 얻었습니다. 이 지표는 111 DMA가 350 DMA * 2를 넘어설 때마다 최고점 신호를 보내는 데, 이러한 교차는 차트에서 흰색 점선으로 표시됩니다. "Pi Cycle Top"이라는 이름은 정수 350을 다른 정수로 나눌 때 분수 350/111이 Pi(3.1415...)에 가장 가깝다는 사실에서 유래되었습니다.
