According to Visa’s analysis, $2.65 trillion in stablecoin transfers occurred over the last 30 days, but only $265 billion was deemed ‘organic,’ meaning that most transactions may not be tied to real-world commerce. This can result in double counting and, in turn, unjust representation of the transaction volumes.
