In a surprise AMA (Ask Me Anything) session, a listener asked Charles Hoskinson if he and his team were still considering working with Ripple executives.

Notably, Hoskinson has hinted several times that this Proof-of-Stake (PoS) network will integrate XRP.

With the integration to Lace Wallet, ADA holders can now interact with XRP. Some of the functionalities that will be available include storing, sending, and receiving this Ripple Labs-backed coin.

Lace Wallet itself is a lightweight wallet exclusive to the ADA ecosystem. However, earlier this year, the wallet started pushing multichain initiatives.

Some time ago, Lace had integrated Bitcoin, and now XRP is one of the mainstream assets slated for on-chain implementation.

Although this big announcement was made in an AMA session, Charles Hoskinson has not revealed when exactly the integration of XRP in the Lace wallet will be completed.

In this latest update from the Cardano Founder, it was mentioned that as many as 37 million users will benefit from this airdrop. Interestingly, XRP is one of the eight blockchain networks that will participate.

This airdrop is one of the ways the Midnight protocol adds value to its users.

Despite the positive news regarding XRP, the coin’s price growth has remained flat in the last 24 hours, staying at $2,198.
