A new decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol called Hyperliquied has seen its HYPE token experience a remarkable 80% increase in value, reaching $7.03 within just 15 hours of its release, following a massive airdrop by Hyperliquied on November 29.

The DeFi protocol distributed 310 million HYPE tokens during its genesis event, each valued at $3.90. This brings the total distribution to an incredible $1.2 billion.
