GD Culture Group Invests $300M in Bitcoin and TRUMP Meme Coin

GD Culture Group, a publicly listed holding company with links to China, has disclosed its intention to invest a substantial $300 million into Bitcoin and the official TRUMP meme coin.

As per an SEC filing, GDC will be funding the investment through a stock purchase agreement with an investor based in the British Virgin Islands, who has pledged to provide capital of up to $300 million.

The funds will be utilized not only to acquire Bitcoin and the TRUMP token but also to support broader corporate initiatives and long-term crypto reserves.

According to data from CoinMarketCap, TRUMP has risen by 6% in the past 24 hours and is currently trading at $13.65, despite a 27.79% decrease in volume.

This surge comes just days ahead of the highly anticipated Trump crypto dinner, scheduled for May 22, where the top 220 holders of the TRUMP token will enjoy an exclusive event with US President Donald Trump himself.

The dinner had already triggered some bullish momentum earlier this month when it was first confirmed.

Technical Outlook: TRUMP Price Analysis

On the 1-hour chart, TRUMP/USDT is currently forming an ascending triangle pattern.

The price is testing the lower boundary of the triangle near $13.30, and a breakout above the upper trendline resistance around $13.80–$14.00 could lead to a sharp rally. A successful breakout above $14 could send TRUMP toward retesting recent highs near $15.20.

However, if price fails to hold the ascending triangle support near $13.20, a breakdown could expose the token to a retest of the psychological $12.50 level.

Meanwhile, the RSI is currently hovering around the neutral 50 mark, the RSI is in recovery mode after dipping from overbought levels. The MACD indicator shows that the MACD line is slightly above the signal line, fresh bullish crossover could be imminent.
