An 'AI Blockchain Community (ABC)' event, exploring the synergy between artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology, was held on the 19th in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The event was hosted by Web3 venture capital Spacebar Ventures and Web3 accelerator INF CL.

Ilya Polosukhin, co-founder of NEAR Protocol, took the stage with the theme 'User-Owned AI'. He pointed out that the current AI industry is centralized and highlighted the need for decentralization through blockchain technology.

NEAR 프로토콜의 공동 창업자인 Ilya Polosukhin이 'User-Owned AI'를 주제로 무대에 올랐습니다. 그는 현재 AI 산업이 중앙집중화되어 있음을 지적하며 블록체인 기술을 통한 탈중앙화의 필요성을 강조했다.

Co-founder Ilya stated, "Most of the AI used by people is controlled by a few large companies. Users have no way of knowing what data and algorithms are used to create that AI." He added, "As AI's impact on our lives grows, it becomes more important for AI to be owned by individuals. AI should benefit users and not merely serve to generate corporate profits."

공동 창업자인 Ilya는 "사람들이 사용하는 AI의 대부분은 소수의 대기업에 의해 제어됩니다. 사용자는 해당 AI를 만드는 데 어떤 데이터와 알고리즘이 사용되는지 알 수 없습니다."라고 말했습니다. 그는 “AI가 우리 삶에 미치는 영향이 커지면서 AI를 개인이 소유하는 것이 더욱 중요해지고 있다”며 “AI는 단순히 기업의 이익을 창출하는 역할을 하는 것이 아니라 사용자에게 이익을 주는 역할을 해야 한다”고 덧붙였다.

He emphasized, "We need to return AI ownership to individuals through decentralized AI. People should be able to control their own data and assets." He continued, "To achieve this, elements such as connecting blockchain, the source of trust, with AI are necessary."

그는 “탈중앙화된 AI를 통해 AI 소유권을 개인에게 돌려줘야 한다. 사람들은 자신의 데이터와 자산을 통제할 수 있어야 한다”고 강조했다. 이어 “이를 위해서는 신뢰의 원천인 블록체인과 AI를 연결하는 등의 요소가 필요하다”고 말했다.

He also mentioned, "NEAR Protocol is developing various layers to build a blockchain ecosystem for AI." He added, "We aim to provide infrastructure that connects AI, blockchain, and the internet in new ways, such as 'INTENTS', which assists on-chain transactions using AI."

이어 “NEAR프로토콜은 AI를 위한 블록체인 생태계 구축을 위해 다양한 레이어를 개발하고 있다”고 언급했다. 이어 “AI를 활용해 온체인 거래를 지원하는 'INTENTS' 등 AI와 블록체인, 인터넷을 새로운 방식으로 연결하는 인프라를 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다”고 덧붙였다.

Eiji Mi, head of Google Cloud's Web3 business in Korea, gave a lecture at the 'AI Blockchain Community' event, discussing Google's focus on AI development for blockchain.

미에이지 구글 클라우드 웹3 한국사업본부장은 'AI 블록체인 커뮤니티' 행사에서 강연을 통해 구글이 블록체인용 AI 개발에 집중하고 있는 점에 대해 논의했다.

Eiji Mi, head of Google Cloud's Web3 business in Korea, gave a lecture titled 'Google Cloud for Web3 and AI' at the event. He revealed that Google sees blockchain as the next-generation internet and is focusing on AI development for blockchain.

이날 행사에서는 미에지 구글 클라우드 웹3 한국사업부 총괄이 '웹3와 AI를 위한 구글 클라우드'라는 제목으로 강연을 했다. 그는 구글이 블록체인을 차세대 인터넷으로 보고 블록체인용 AI 개발에 주력하고 있다고 밝혔다.

He stated, "The reason we focus on blockchain and Web3 is simple. We see it as the next evolution of the internet." He added, "The development of the blockchain industry resembles the growth of the internet in the past. Google Cloud believes it can contribute by building stable infrastructure."

그는 “우리가 블록체인과 Web3에 주목하는 이유는 간단하다. 우리는 이를 인터넷의 차세대 진화로 보고 있다”고 말했다. 이어 “블록체인 산업의 발전은 과거 인터넷의 성장과 닮아 있다”며 “구글 클라우드는 안정적인 인프라 구축으로 기여할 수 있다고 믿는다”고 덧붙였다.

He also highlighted that the combination of blockchain technology and AI can solve problems in each field. He explained, "By utilizing blockchain technology, we can verify whether AI is using the correct models and data and distinguish whether the provided data is fake." He added, "Furthermore, token incentives can be introduced to encourage participation in AI development."

또한 블록체인 기술과 AI의 결합이 각 분야의 문제를 해결할 수 있다고 강조했다. 그는 “블록체인 기술을 활용하면 AI가 올바른 모델과 데이터를 사용하고 있는지 검증하고, 제공된 데이터가 가짜인지 구별할 수 있다”고 설명했다. 이어 “게다가 AI 개발 참여를 장려하기 위해 토큰 인센티브를 도입할 수도 있다”고 덧붙였다.

He continued, "AI can also be used to convert complex blockchain data into natural language. AI agents that support tasks such as automatic token trading are another example of AI and blockchain integration." He mentioned that Google Cloud is also developing a console 'ASK ETH' to assist in analyzing Ethereum (ETH) data.

이어 “AI는 복잡한 블록체인 데이터를 자연어로 변환하는 데에도 사용될 수 있다. 자동 토큰 거래 등의 작업을 지원하는 AI 에이전트도 AI와 블록체인 통합의 또 다른 예”라고 말했다. 그는 구글 클라우드가 이더리움(ETH) 데이터 분석을 지원하는 콘솔 'ASK ETH'도 개발 중이라고 언급했다.
