Web3 infrastructure provider Blockdaemon has announced a new integration with Aptos that will enable Bitcoin to be easily onboarded onto the Aptos Layer 1 blockchain via sBTC, a 1:1 synthetic replica of Bitcoin. Through sBTC, Bitcoin holders will be able to engage in new opportunities explored in the Aptos ecosystem, including smart contracts and NFT marketplaces, the companies stated in the release.
