Arbitrum-based decentralized exchange Hyperliquid has overtaken dYdX in terms of total value locked (TVL), according to data from DefiLlama.

As of June 4, Hyperliquid has $530 million in TVL compared to dYdX's $484 million. This marks a new all-time high for Hyperliquid and places it second among derivatives platforms, just behind GMX, which has $542 million.

Hyperliquid has seen a significant increase in TVL over the past few months. In early May, the platform ranked 8th for TVL, but it has since climbed up the ranks thanks to the launch of its new points program.
