In the meantime, the price of XRP is showing some signs of strength. The coin is currently trading at around $2.40, and it has been able to hold onto recent gains. However, it does appear to be struggling to break out of a new range and move towards the $2.50 mark.

However, the 24-hour trading volume is down by 22% suggesting a weakening buying appetite in the near-term.

However, the Average Directional Index (ADX) indicator is at 18, showing a weak uptrend. Therefore, a break above the $2.50 mark is unlikely in the near-term if the current market fundamentals remain in play.
