The Venom Foundation has successfully completed a closed-network stress test of its next-generation protocol, which is capable of sustaining 150,000 transactions per second (TPS) and confirming all deposits within three seconds.

The Venom Foundation is introducing a significant upgrade to its core protocol in 2025. This upgrade will introduce a novel consensus engine, a next-generation throughput layer, and several new smart contracts functions.
