メタバース ワールド Animoca Brands の子会社である The Sandbox は、Voxel Games プログラムの開始を発表しました。

Metaverse world The Sandbox, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, has announced the launch of the Voxel Games program. This initiative aims to collaborate with independent developers and studios to create games in its unique voxel style, expanding its ecosystem.

Studio partners include FRAG Games and The Devhouse Agency, with more partners expected to join soon.

With tools like VoxEdit and Game Maker, creators can design voxel-based assets and games without coding skills. The Voxel Games program will now offer these tools to game studios and indie developers, allowing them to create games using various game engines beyond The Sandbox’s no-code creation tools. These games will be published and played on different stores and platforms.

The program will support projects on mobile, web, and PC devices, providing traditional monetization methods like free-to-play models, microtransactions, in-app purchases, and ads. Projects will also integrate blockchain elements from The Sandbox, including the SAND utility token and player-owned digital assets like avatars, LANDs, and voxel asset NFTs.
