リース・ダンカン：マーケティングの授業から『バット・アウト・オブ・ヘル』の主演へ

俳優はツアーショーでの自身の役割と、ジーザス・クライスト・スーパースターのユダやバック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャーのマーティ・マクフライを演じるという将来の演技の夢について語る

After graduating from the Emil Dale Academy in London, Reece Duncan went on to appear in pantomimes and stage shows before landing a role in Bat Out of Hell.

The musical, which is based on the songs of Jim Steinman, tells the story of a dystopian world where a gang of outcasts, known as The Lost, clash with the authorities.

ジム・スタインマンの曲を基にしたこのミュージカルは、ザ・ロストとして知られる追放者のギャングが当局と衝突するディストピアの世界の物語を描いている。

Duncan plays Ledoux, a member of The Lost who is described as being “a bit of a hard man, but he’s a bit dim and very gullible, which leaves him open for a fight at any time”.

ダンカンはザ・ロストのメンバー、ルドゥを演じる。彼は「少し厳しい男だが、少し頭が悪く、とてもだまされやすいので、いつでも戦う準備ができている」と言われている。

“He’s essentially one of the Lost Boys, but he features more prominently, has a couple of songs and does quite a lot of dancing,” said Duncan.

“The whole show has a giant arc about community and understanding, but each of the characters has their own qualities and they go on a great journey.”

Bat Out of Hell is currently touring the UK and will be playing at the Edinburgh Playhouse from January 6-11 and the King’s Theatre, Glasgow from April 7-19.
