P2P.org, a leading provider of cryptomonetary validation and staking services across major blockchain networks, has been officially elected as a TRON Super Representative (SR). The integration expands P2P.org’s industry-leading validation services to over 40 supported networks and further strengthens TRON’s infrastructure for optimal performance.
P2P.org, founded in 2018, provides non-custodial infrastructure and technology for intermediaries such as Web3 wallets, exchanges, and custodians. Their dynamic approach allows participants to rapidly grow by running nodes without the technical complexities, enabling them to quickly expand their offerings and capitalize on new opportunities in the rapidly evolving digital asset landscape.
As a newly elected Super Representative, P2P.org will be instrumental in assisting with the critical task of validating transactions on the TRON network, contributing to the generation of new blocks, and maintaining the overarching security of the network. Moreover, P2P.org will be facilitating pathways for institutions to access the incentives offered by the TRON network.
Highlighting the significance of TRON's role in the burgeoning DeFi space, Sam Elfarra, Community Spokesperson for the TRON DAO, noted, "With its scalability and minimal transaction costs, TRON is becoming the blockchain of choice for an increasing number of DeFi platforms that are focused on institutional adoption. We are thrilled to welcome P2P.org as a Super Representative."
What is a Super Representative on the TRON Network?
TRON's Super Representatives are 27 elected validators who form the backbone of the network's Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus. They play a crucial role in sustaining the optimal operation of the TRON network by performing several critical functions. These responsibilities include the generation of a new block every three seconds, the validation of transactions to ensure their integrity, and the participation in voting on critical governance decisions that shape the future direction of the TRON ecosystem.
"We are very excited to add the TRON Super Representative Validator to our growing validator portfolio," said Alex Esin, CEO at P2P.org. "This integration expands our coverage to more than 40 networks and unlocks exciting new opportunities for our institutional partners to optimize their TRX holdings with our industry-leading staking solutions."
