Core Scientific's (NASDAQ:CORZ) BTC mining operations expanded in 2024, with the company achieving a total output of 6,595 BTC.
In its unaudited production and operations updates for Dec. 2024, Core Scientific announced that it mined 974 BTC in Q4 2024.
Of the total BTC mined in December, 291 BTC was earned from the company's owned fleet of miners.
Core also provided data center hosting services, technology, and operating support to about 7,000 hosted, customer-owned bitcoin miners in addition to its fleet of self-mining miners.
