At the TokenizeThis 2024 conference in Miami, Coinbase's head of tokenization, Anthony Bassili, outlined the company's ambitious plans. The cornerstone of this strategy is Base, Coinbase's Ethereum layer-2 blockchain. This process attaches a verifiable tag to users' smart wallets, enabling efficient KYC verification across multiple platforms.
