Coinbase Assets announced via X (formerly Twitter) that it will support Movement (MOVE), an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network.

As per the announcement, transfers for MOVE are now live on Coinbase Exchange in regions where trading is supported. Additionally, the MOVE-USD trading pair will be rolled out gradually as more tokens become available. However, MOVE may not be available in all regions.

MOVE is part of a system of modular blockchains designed for developers to build fast, secure, and interoperable blockchain applications. It connects the Move and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystems and is the first Move-EVM Layer 2 solution for Ethereum.

The project, led by Movement Labs, is backed by major investors including Polychain Capital, Binance Labs, Hack VC, Placeholder, and Archetype.

Trading is expected to begin later today if there is sufficient liquidity. Coinbase has listed MOVE under the “Experimental” label, indicating that it is a newer or less established asset on the platform. Users are advised to transfer MOVE only using the Ethereum network to avoid losing their fund.
