In a post published on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on May 11, Hoskinson launched a scathing critique of Harari's analysis.

"Dunning-Kruger on steroids," Hoskinson wrote, using an expression that refers to the tendency of incompetent individuals to overestimate their abilities and fail to recognize their own shortcomings. The Cardano founder's comment drew support from members of the crypto community, who concurred with his assessment of Harari's analysis.
