A prominent crypto analyst has shared his analysis on why Cardano (ADA) price reaching $10 by 2025 is a realistic possibility.
In a recent video, the analyst, known as Lee the Captain, discussed his projection, tying it to historical trends, market dynamics, and Cardano’s unique technological strengths.
Lee's analysis begins by highlighting 2025 as a potential breakout year for Cardano, based on historical data on market cycles. He explained that altcoins tend to peak roughly 18 months after Bitcoin halving events.
Since the last halving occurred in 2024, October 2025 could mark a major high for ADA. Lee finds the $10 milestone to be plausible, stating, “It wouldn’t shock me in the slightest.”
At $10, ADA's market capitalization would be around $350 billion. Comparing this to Ethereum’s peak market cap of $550 billion, Lee suggests that ADA would still appear undervalued.
He also critiques Ethereum for its scalability issues and high gas fees, contrasting it with Cardano's low transaction costs and impressive scalability.
“Cardano offers a fully functional system from the ground up, without the need for layer-2 solutions like Polygon or Arbitrum,” Lee said.
Highlighting Cardano's advantages over its competitors, the analyst praises the blockchain for its low transaction costs and impressive scalability.
“Unlike Ethereum, which relies on layer-2 solutions, Cardano offers a fully functional system from the ground up. I’m also looking at you, Solana, with your network going down constantly. Meanwhile, Cardano has been running smoothly for years now,” he added.
He positions Cardano as a next-generation blockchain, outshining newer projects like Avalanche and Algorand. According to him, Cardano’s technical strengths make it a standout in a crowded market.
Another key point in Lee's analysis is Bitcoin’s potential climb to $150,000-$200,000 during the next bull run.
He argues that a thriving Bitcoin sets favorable conditions for altcoins like ADA. With over 600 million people now owning cryptocurrencies, the expanding user base could further drive demand for Cardano.
Lee challenges the notion that scarcity alone drives value, pointing to projects like Quant with smaller supplies. Instead, he argues, utility and adoption play a larger role in determining success.
“People talk about scarcity driving value, but there are projects out there like Quant that have a smaller supply and less people are talking about them. It’s not just about scarcity. It’s about the use case, the team, the community, and the overall strength of the project,” he said.
Concluding his analysis, Lee expresses unwavering confidence in Cardano’s future.
“I’m not interested in short-term pumps and dumps. I’m talking about long-term investment here, and when you look at the fundamentals, ADA at $10 isn’t out of reach. For me, Cardano isn’t just another blockchain. It’s the next evolution of the industry,” he stated.
