In a recent development, Bitget, the cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company, has announced the listing of Blast.io, a Layer 2 ecosystem, for the initial listings of BLAST tokens on its Spot corridor. Under its innovation zone, Bitget lists promising trending projects during their token generation event (TGE). Blast users can now trade their newly airdropped BLAST tokens, and new users can gain early market access through Bitget's spot trading. Deposits for BLAST tokens opened on June 26th, and trading will go live at 15:00 UTC.

Blast is among the first Ethereum L2s to offer native yield for ETH and stablecoins. This potential yield is generated through ETH staking and RWA protocols and is automatically credited to Blast users. While other L2s typically offer a 0% default interest rate, Blast users can enjoy rates of 4% for ETH and 5% for stablecoins.
