Despite the popularity of blockchain projects issuing their own native tokens, Base Chain founder Jesse Pollak has revealed that the platform has no plans to introduce one.

Taking to social media platform X, Pollak highlighted the importance of prioritizing user experience and solving real problems over token issuance.

He cited the Hyperliquid project as an example, emphasizing how focusing on building a product that users genuinely love before layering on complexities like pricing paves the way for long-term success.

Commenting on the same, Pollak said,
