  $SPX A 8% CAGR from current levels to the end of this decade will pretty much take us to the holy grail of 10,000. Let that sink in for a second. TEN THOUSAND on the S&P500 index before 2030. 8% is in line with historical averages so not egregious at all.

  In the last 100 years, the S&P has had fifteen bear markets (a drop of 20%+). That’s an average of one per 6.666 years. The $SPX is currently at ~6,666. I come up with weird stats. Meaningless most times, but entertaining I guess.
