XRP Price Prediction: Why XRP Is Rallying and Could Soon Hit $15
May 13, 2025 at 10:57 am
XRP has been seeing a nice price push lately and at the time of writing, it is up by more than 3%. Trading at $2.43, there are a few reasons why XRP is rallying.
"If House Bill 594 passes in Missouri, it would allow residents to deduct all capital gains taxes from cryptocurrency profits. That would mean no capital gains taxes would be applied to any profits realized from Bitcoin or XRP.
"This bill is currently being discussed in the state legislature. If approved by both the House and Senate, and then signed into law by the governor, it would become part of the state's tax code.
"Capital gains taxes are applied to any profit made from selling an asset for more than it was bought for. In the U.S. federal tax system, long-term capital gains are taxed at a maximum rate of 15%, while short-term capital gains are taxed at the same rate as ordinary income, which can go as high as 37% for the highest earners.
"However, a new bill in Missouri could drastically reduce or even eliminate capital gains taxes for cryptocurrency investors in the state.
"House Bill 594, introduced by Republican Representative Derek Wolken, aims to amend the state's tax code to allow a deduction for all capital gains realized from cryptocurrency investments. This bill is being closely watched by crypto investors in the U.S., as it could significantly impact their tax obligations.

"House Bill 594, introduced by Republican Representative Derek Wolken, aims to amend the state's tax code to allow a deduction for all capital gains realized from cryptocurrency investments.
"This bill is a direct response to a bill that was passed last year by the House but later stalled in the Senate. That bill, House Bill 1140, would have imposed a 1% capital gains tax on cryptocurrency at the state level.
"The new bill has generated interest among crypto investors, who are hopeful that it will pass and provide them with some tax relief.
"In other news, new data from Glassnode shows that the number of XRP (XRP) holders has increased by 11% so far in 2025.
"According to Glassnode, the total number of XRP holders has now reached 4.2 million, up from 3.8 million at the beginning of the year. This surge in new XRP holders comes amid a broader narrative of rising cryptocurrency adoption in 2025.
"As of January 1, there were 3.8 million XRP holders, a figure that has now climbed to 4.2 million, marking an 11% increase from the start of the year.
"This data point underscores the growing interest in XRP, particularly as it emerges from a year of consistent price declines and attempts to find support levels.
"Moreover, Travala.com, a renowned travel booking platform, has announced the integration of XRP as a payment method on its platform, further expanding the coin’s real-world utility.
"As announced in a statement on Wednesday, Travala users can now seamlessly book their hotel stays, flight tickets, and travel experiences using XRP, in addition to other cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies.
"This integration broadens Travala's payment options, providing greater convenience for travelers who prefer to use XRP for their online transactions.
"Furthermore, the team at Ripple is making progress in connecting XRP with Cosmos and developing EVM sidechains, aiming to facilitate smoother interoperability among different blockchain networks.
"Finally, on the price prediction side, analyst Ali Charts says that if XRP manages to break out of its current chart pattern, it might experience a significant price surge of up to $15.
"Currently, technical indicators like RSI and stochastic RSI are showing bullish signals, suggesting that a breakout from the chart pattern could be on the horizon.
