XRP's recent behavior is catching the attention of crypto community members who monitor its performance amid increasing bullish momentum.

XRP has outperformed several cryptocurrencies in recent times, and the community members are focused on its performance amid increasing bullish momentum.

For instance, in his latest post on X, renowned crypto lawyer Bill Morgan revealed how XRP performed better than Bitcoin in the past seven days despite the latter’s impressive recovery.

"Even with all the Saylor Bitcoin acquisitions, strategic reserve news, and treasury acquisitions, XRP is outperforming Bitcoin. ScamDetective will be devastated," reads part of the post by Morgan.

However, one XRP critic on X, on the other hand, mentioned how the situation would backfire, with the possibility of having a negative influence on XRP’s price.

The critic, who is known for his pessimistic outlook on the crypto market, reacted to a post by President Donald Trump, where he disclosed his plans to add major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum to the US Crypto Stockpile.

"They'll add (rumored to be personally influenced by a renowned lobbyist), XRP to the US Crypto Stockpile. This will have a disastrous effect on the price of XRP. XRP users, you got played," the critic stated.

For context, a report by the US Department of the Treasury revealed the Biden administration's initiative to diversify the US government's holdings to include cryptocurrencies.

In his post, Trump expressed his openness to the idea, suggesting the inclusion of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other prominent cryptocurrencies in the US Crypto Stockpile.

"I am thinking about it and would be willing to do it. We can put it in the Stockpile, code it, and make it in the United States, just like we make our own currency—the dollar," Trump stated in his post.

He added, "We have Bitcoin, Ethereum, and all the other good ones. Let's get started!"

In another post, the critic mocked XRP users, saying they got played.

"So they're adding Bitcoin, Ethereum, and maybe even XRP to the US Crypto Stockpile. Get ready for the ultimate price pump in history."

"XRP users, enjoy the moment, you'll be needing it. Y'all got played and will be bailing out at a loss like always. Get ready for the ultimate crypto winter to wipe out the remaining 99% of traders," the post concluded.

However, contrary to the critic’s expectations, XRP waxed stronger, with the price surging significantly in the past few days.

XRP has gained nearly 20% in the last six days, bouncing off support at $2.0775 to reach a $2.4832 high in the early hours of Sunday.

At the time of writing, XRP traded for $2.3861, following a slight pullback from the $2.5 resistance region.

Still, the altcoin’s supporters believe in its potential to surge higher in the current crypto market recovery move.

Moreover, ending the litigation between the SEC and Ripple remains a fundamentally positive development which XRP analysts believe would boost demand.
