Valour Expands Its Presence in the Nordic Financial Market by Launching Two New ETPs

Valour Inc., a subsidiary of DeFi Technologies, has expanded its presence in the Nordic financial market by launching two new exchange-traded products (ETPs).

Valour Inc., a subsidiary of DeFi Technologies (TSX:TECH, OTC:DHTCF), has further expanded its presence in the Nordic financial market with the launch of two new exchange-traded products (ETPs).

These ETPs, which provide European investors with diversified exposure to digital assets in a fully regulated and efficient manner, are now available for trading on the Spotlight Stock Market in Sweden.

The newly launched products are Valour Curve DAO (CRV) SEK ETP and Valour Litecoin (LTC) SEK ETP, and they add to Valour’s growing suite of digital asset investment solutions.

As the demand for crypto continues to rise among Nordic investors, Valour is strategically expanding its offerings to cater to this interest.

The addition of CRV and LTC ETPs expands the range of digital assets accessible to investors in Northern Europe through traditional brokerage accounts.

These ETPs offer a unique opportunity for investors to gain exposure to the underlying cryptocurrencies without the complexities of self-custody or direct interaction with blockchain networks.

The Curve DAO and Litecoin ETPs

The Valour Curve DAO ETP provides exposure to the CRV token, which serves as the governance token for the Curve decentralized exchange.

Used extensively in decentralized finance (DeFi) for efficient and deep liquidity in stablecoin trading with minimal slippage, the Curve protocol is a critical component of the DeFi ecosystem.

The CRV token plays a crucial role in the protocol’s liquidity incentives and governance mechanisms, enabling token holders to participate in critical decisions regarding the protocol’s future development.

As of May 2023, CRV has a market capitalization of $940 million.

The Valour Litecoin ETP offers exposure to Litecoin, a layer-1 blockchain known for its minimal transaction costs and rapid settlement times.

Recognized as a complementary asset to Bitcoin, Litecoin is a widely used cryptocurrency with a market capitalization of approximately $6.6 billion.

Both ETPs are listed in SEK and carry a management fee of 1.9%. They offer investors a simple and efficient way to invest in these cryptocurrencies through their preferred brokerage accounts.

Valour’s Strategic Expansion Towards 100 ETPs by Year-End

Valour has rapidly expanded its product suite in 2023, launching over 65 digital asset ETPs. The company is on track to achieve its goal of 100 ETPs by the end of 2023.

In addition to single-asset offerings, Valour is developing thematic basket ETPs to cater to specific investment trends.

These include a Real-World Asset (RWA) and Tokenization Basket, a Digital Gold Basket, and an Institutional Layer-1 Basket.

These products aim to provide diversified exposure to digital assets based on emerging market trends, such as the integration of Web3 technologies and the growing institutional interest in cryptocurrencies.

Moreover, Valour is preparing to release leveraged ETPs, such as BTC 2x and ETH 2x, for investors who prefer amplified returns within a fully regulated framework.

These products are designed to track twice the daily performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum, appealing to investors with short-term or tactical trading strategies.
