Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat against arch-rivals India in their Group A game at the 2025 Champions Trophy in Dubai on Sunday.
The two teams are meeting at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium despite Pakistan hosting the tournament, with India playing its league games and potential knockout matches in the United Arab Emirates.
Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan made the call at the toss, opting to send his batters out to the middle first.
India captain Rohit Sharma was looking to win the toss and put Pakistan in to bat first, but it was not to be.
The match is set to begin at 3pm local time (11am GMT).
