Justin Sun is rumored to be attending President Trump's exclusive dinner next month
Apr 25, 2025 at 05:37 am
An HTX cold storage wallet registered for the TRUMP holder leaderboard currently occupies the first place. Sun himself posted a cryptic message on social media, possibly suggesting he wishes to attend.
Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, is not going to attend President Trump’s exclusive dinner for the meme coin TRUMP. Some reports claimed that Sun could be aiming for a place on the eponymous coin’s holder leaderboard to get an invitation to the meal.
Yesterday, Donald Trump announced an exclusive dinner at his private residence in Palm Beach for the top holders of his namesake meme coin. The news sparked a frenzy of activity among crypto enthusiasts.
Many rumors have been circulating about the dinner, including the possibility that a cold storage wallet registered for the TRUMP holder leaderboard is currently in first place.
Arkham Intelligence first noticed the addition of the cold wallet to the leaderboard. The firm flagged the wallet as belonging to HTX, an exchange associated with Sun.
The wallet has been transferring TRUMP for the last three months, and its TRUMP holdings have only increased once since the announcement. The wallet’s portfolio includes hundreds of different cryptoassets.
In other words, it’s quite plausible that this is an exchange’s ordinary cold wallet. Registering for the TRUMP leaderboard wouldn’t compromise its actual tokens.
As such, users quickly began claiming that Sun was behind this wallet, as this would give him a guaranteed spot at the dinner.
He and President Trump have a history together, and Sun invested $30 million in WLFI shortly after the last election. Since then, the SEC moved to settle a civil fraud case against him.
The Tron founder himself posted a cryptic message after the rumors began:
“All in USA 🇺🇸”
This could be interpreted as a sign that Sun indeed plans to attend Trump’s dinner.
However, regardless of the rumor’s veracity, this goal is quite achievable for a man of Sun’s means. Yesterday, some users claimed it would require $400,000 worth of TRUMP coins to make the cut.
However, as the leaderboard clearly shows, users must manually register to be counted, dropping the price floor considerably.
This plan would guarantee Sun a spot at Trump’s table, and potentially a private White House tour.
