Justin Sun, the founder of the Tron blockchain and a well-known figure in the cryptocurrency space, recently made a bold statement

The founder of Tron, Justin Sun, has shared his optimistic outlook on the future price of Ethereum (ETH). In a recent tweet, Sun highlighted that Ethereum shares the same “birthday” with him, making the date even more special.
To celebrate this milestone, Sun suggested a 10x price increase for Ethereum, aiming for a price of $5,000 per ETH.
"This date is truly meaningful—same birthday as Ethereum. I suggest a 10x increase—let’s commemorate it together at $5,000!," said Sun.
The 10-year mark is a significant moment for Ethereum, showcasing the network’s growth, evolution, and impact. With the rise of decentralized applications (dApps), decentralized finance (DeFi), and the shift to Ethereum 2.0 (proof-of-stake), Ethereum has established itself as a foundational pillar in the blockchain ecosystem.
As the Ethereum Foundation prepares for "10 Years of Ethereum Meetups," local gatherings are being organized to commemorate the anniversary on July 30, 2025.
