The trailer for Season 2, Episode 22 of The Demon Hunter has landed and it sees Ji Yuantong reunited with his young sister, Ji Yuanbao, who is now dead and only exists as a primordial spirit.
At first, Yuantong believes that Meng Chuan must be playing a trick on him, as he knows that his sister has already died. But, after Ji Yuanbao tells him the same thing she used to tell him when she was still alive and they used to want to open a shop together, “I’m Ji Yuanbao, like the big gold ingot. And my brother, he’s like the little copper coin”, Yuantong realizes that she really is the spirit of his sister.
The rest of The Demon Hunter, Season 2, Episode 2 trailer has him remembering how sick Yuanbao used to be, and then him sitting down with Meng Chuan and Meng Chuan’s primordial spirit Zhuang Sheng to learn, because Yuanbao spent so much of her primordial spirit protecting him, she only has a few hours of life left.
The episode itself is now streaming via YOUKU for that platform’s subscribers, and will hit YOUKU’s YouTube channel next week for non-subscribers.
