Crypto analyst Jason Pizzino discussed the market outlook for Bitcoin and traditional assets, referencing the 18-year property cycle theory.
What Has Been Said: Pizzino, known for his analysis on the crypto and financial markets, touched upon the 18-year property cycle theory, originally proposed by land economist Fred Harrison. This theory suggests that the property market alternates between a 14-year boom phase and a 4-year bust phase, always completing a full 18-year cycle.
The analyst believes that Bitcoin may factor into this cycle, potentially experiencing a market correction earlier than traditional assets like stocks and real estate.
"I wouldn't expect Bitcoin to peak at the same time as the stock market or real estate," Pizzino said.
Pizzino predicts that Bitcoin's peak could occur as early as the first half of 2026, with a possibility of it happening in the first quarter.
Why It Matters: According to Pizzino, Bitcoin is expected to reach a new all-time high in the coming months before the broader market correction sets in.
Pizzino has set price targets of $106,000 for Bitcoin, with subsequent targets of $108,000 to $109,000. He also mentioned that a 75% swing from Bitcoin's current price range could push it to around $111,000.
If Bitcoin replicates its previous 100% move, the price could hit $117,000.
"We could even see Bitcoin's price triple in the next bull market, which would take the cryptocurrency to highs of $117,000."
Pizzino further noted that Bitcoin's price could rise to $128,000 if it experiences a 150% move, and a 200% move could propel the cryptocurrency to $139,000.
