I was excited to hear that President Trump is open to the idea of being the next Pope. This would truly be a dark horse candidate, but I would ask the papal conclave and Catholic faithful to keep an open mind about this possibility!

The U.S. senator shared a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, teasing the possibility of former President Donald Trump becoming the next pope.

"I am also unveiling today a limited edition Pope Donald the First meme coin. It’s more than just a handsome keepsake with the likeness of your favorite pope on it. It’s an investment that will save you from the fires of Hell," Graham wrote.

The post comes after a recent interview in which Trump said he would consider becoming the next pope if they asked him.

"They'll have to ask me. It would be an honor, an incredible honor, but I think they're very happy with the pope they have now," Trump told the Palm Beach Post. "But if they asked, and I would be able to convert, which I wouldn't mind doing—I am a protestant, but I could easily convert."

The thought of Trump becoming the next pope is something that's sure to spark a lot of conversation, especially given his political stances and the fact that popes are typically selected from within the ranks of the Catholic clergy.
