  $SPX - There has never been a 20%+ decline that was followed by an 85% ret and was reversed into new lows. In 2001 we had a 50% ret, in 2008 and 2022 we had a 60% ret. The only significant decline that was entirely retraced and reversed was 2015, but the drawdown was only 12%.
